First post, please have patience as I've never done a blog and I'm still figuring everything out.
Well, it looks like this crazy adventure is actually going to happen. We've moved from our house to Sunny and we're trying to find places to put all our stuff. At this point I can't imagine how we'll fit it all in (or find it). Here is a picture I took as I was about 1/2 way through (originally there was no floor vi sable). 
We're spending our days alternating between getting the boat ready, last minute provisioning, and relaxing. The plan is to leave Alameda next Thursday, October 1. The first stop is just around the corner from the Gate; Half Moon Bay.
